Ismail is a design leader and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience that encompasses startups, scale-ups and corporations. Ismail has experience in building and leading teams of world-class designers, product managers, engineers.

Ismail co-founded VLT Labs, a venture builder that builds, launch and invests in startups across South East Asia, Australia and Europe. His venture builder successfully merged with McKinsey & Company in 2017. In McKinsey, Ismail leads design for Digital Labs in South-East Asia and delivered impact in the education, banking, insurance, energy and oil & gas sectors.

Taylor Ling is a Digital Product Designer and passionate about great digital product experience, as well as closing the gap between design and development. He co-founded and designed Fabulous, a scientific habit-forming companion which scored the Material Design Award from Google in 2016.

Before Fabulous, he worked in Materialise Malaysia on their life-saving medical software for surgeons. He also worked at a software solution house in Kuala Lumpur called Snappymob and crafted Saved, an award-winning iOS financial tracker app.

Irene is Experience Design enthusiast, currently leading User Experience Design team. Irene’s work is rooted in UX strategy and UI design and user research. She and her team believe in solving the user problems with great experience design by adopting user centric design methodology. Outside of her job, she actively participate in numerous events like Woman Startup Weekend & MAB Hackathon, speak for few events like ResponseCon 2018, Sketch Kuala Lumpur Meet Up, SEA Connect Creative Conference 2019.  

She believes in the importance of emphasis on problem analysis as the basis for creating the solutions. There are far more thing we keep eyes on the design beside the aesthetic level. She hopes that we local Malaysian design community continue to strengthen and inspire not only ourselves, but also newer generations to collaborate and do better.
